Experience

Marcela has large experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring transactions and infrastructure projects. Marcela’s practice also focus on legal advice in a wide range of corporate issues, including advising clients in companies’ day-to-day matters, corporate disputes, as well as structuring and negotiating commercial contracts. She also has relevant experience in the private equity and search fund (entrepreneurship through acquisition) industries. Her work spans sectors such as Technology, Construction and Engineering, and Education, demonstrating her versatility in large-scale and highly complex transactions. In recent years, she has been involved in 47 significant matters. With international experience as a visiting attorney at the Cuatrecasas’ Lisbon office, throughout her career, she has been recognized by LACCA Approved in the Corporate/M&A area and listed among the most admired lawyers in Technology and in São Paulo by the publications Análise Advocacia, Análise Regional, and Análise Mulher. She was ranked as a Next Generation Partner in the 2026 edition of The Legal 500 Latin America and was a finalist in the Corporate and M&A: High-end – Next Generation Partner of the Year category at the same institution’s awards.

Graduation

She graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), 2009, and specialized in Corporate and Commercial Law at the London School of Economics (LSE), 2014. Fluent in English.
